Summary

Private fork of FF Reoccupation, adapted as MCW FF Enemy Attacks with RHML performance fixes, broader Freedom Fighters map compatibility, and Civilian Ownership dependency removed.

Official Workshop description

MCW FF Enemy Attacks is a private fork of FF Reoccupation, created for internal auditing, debugging, and fixes within our private MCW setup. Changes include: Improved RHML border planning with cached geometry, bounded route searches, and indexed road queries. Compatibility fixes for vanilla and custom Freedom Fighters scenarios, including negative terrain coordinates and inland water detection. Removal of the Civilian Ownership dependency and its integration code. Corrected project references, system configuration inheritance, and audio resource metadata. This is a fork, not an original MCW creation. Credit for the original mod and its content remains with the original authors. This fork is not an official release or endorsed by them. STRICTLY FOR PRIVATE USE ONLY. Not intended for public release, public servers, redistribution, re-uploading, or commercial use.

Added support for narrow roads from 2 m wide, including compatible tracks in the Freedom Fighters road network. Roads between 2–3 m use a minimal two-guard checkpoint.
Removed the 200 m spacing rule that closed checkpoints near wider roads. Separate native border crossings now remain registered.
Added a bounded roadside search for suitable guard positions, up to 60 m along the road, while preserving the original FF boundary and crossing coordinates.
Improved terrain placement: small guard and sign positions accept smooth slopes, while large structures retain stricter ground requirements.
Expanded sign placement options and corrected narrow-road stop lines, connected branches, and vehicle approach tracking.
Corrected stale baked road heights while retaining checks for actual elevated bridge decks.
Removed broad settlement-circle exclusions from native border checkpoint siting and fixed zero-radius town markers incorrectly blocking placement.
Updated save validation and loading to support narrow roads and their actual stop widths.
Fixed existing checkpoint updates when guard positions change without moving the crossing. Surviving personnel and cooldowns are preserved.
Added clearer logs for rejected checkpoint sites and successful placement offsets.
Updated the planning revision so previously rejected crossings are reconsidered automatically.
