Launcher changelog
New features, refinements and fixes shipping to the reforgermods.net launcher.
The first field deployment
The first public beta. It focuses on fast discovery and a dependable path into the game: find a server worth joining, see what it will ask of you, and get in.
New
- Live server browser with population and queue counts
- Search, sorting and region/platform filters
- Detailed server view with population history
- Measured ping to the selected server, and to every region
- Required mod status, favorites and recent servers
- Direct join through Steam
- Automatic background updates on Windows, applied when you close the launcher
- Downloads for Windows and Arch Linux, with published checksums
Known issues
- Windows shows a SmartScreen warning on first run: the beta is not code-signed yet. Choose More info, then Run anyway.
- Debian and AppImage packages are not built yet.
- Around a third of servers do not answer ping and will show “no reply” rather than a latency.
Release candidate
A visual and reliability pass ahead of public beta.
