DCO Compile Compatibility Arma Reforger Mod

DCO COMPILE COMPATIBILITY - TEST VERSION 0.1.0 Independent compatibility addon for large modpacks using DCO AI Reforger. This is not an official DCO release or a universal engine fix. WHAT IT DOES Replaces 21 vanilla method bodies across 10 script files where DCO already supplies a complete override. This reduces the compiled script payload. DCO's scripts are not modified or included in this addon. No DCO options or features are deliberately disabled, including the strategic commander. WHY In the tested 150-mod preset, DCO alone loaded successfully, but the full preset crashed during script initialization. Moving DCO to the beginning or end did not resolve the crash. The diagnostic executable also reported 'Too many instructions per function'. This addon allowed the full preset to compile and enter Game Master on Kolguyev. The exact native crash mechanism has not been established. REQUIRES DCO AI Reforger - 5EDAAE0D3CC60D6B. Validated with Arma Reforger 1.8.0.13 and DCO 0.4.143. Other game or DCO versions require renewed validation. Enable this addon together with DCO in the mission's mod list. TESTED SCOPE Windows PC, official Kolguyev Game Master, all 150 explicitly selected mods present, successful script compilation and world startup. A separate test-only script ran two opposing AI groups for over 120 seconds without a native crash or an unexpected call to the replaced vanilla bodies. The test also requested creation of a DCO commander prefab. Test entities and automation are not included in this release. LIMITATIONS This is a test-version workaround validated against one specific modpack. Long sessions, every strategic commander feature, vehicles, dedicated-server/client multiplayer and consoles have not been comprehensively validated. Other mods that alter these vanilla files or depend on their original implementations can conflict. ACE Medical script exceptions remain in the tested pack; this addon does not fix them. MAINTENANCE The addon replaces vanilla source files and must be reviewed after updates to the game, DCO or interacting mods. Workshop installation does not provide the SHA-256/version guard used by the original local test launcher. Do not assume that subscribing alone protects against future incompatible updates. If logs contain '[DCO-COMPAT-UNEXPECTED-VANILLA]', report the method name and exact versions; the original dispatch assumptions no longer hold. CREDITS Original vanilla scripts: Bohemia Interactive.
