INFANTERÍA DE MARINA TERCIOS HISPANOS — ARMA REFORGER Año 22XX. Golden Gate, Estados Unidos. Años después de una devastadora guerra civil, Estados Unidos continúa sumido en una profunda crisis. Gran parte del territorio permanece fragmentado, con infraestructuras destruidas, grupos armados e insurgentes operando en distintas regiones y antiguos intereses extranjeros todavía presentes sobre el terreno. Ante esta situación, la comunidad internacional inicia una operación de estabilización. España despliega a la Armada Española en la región de Golden Gate, enviando al Tercer Batallón Mecanizado de Desembarco del TEAR, acompañado por elementos de la Fuerza de Guerra Naval Especial (FGNE). El contingente español tendrá como misión restablecer la seguridad, recuperar zonas estratégicas, proteger a la población y garantizar el control del área de operaciones. El TEAR constituirá
