SILENCE LASER DESIGNATION 2
===========================
A laser rangefinder built on the vanilla B8 binoculars. Look through, switch the laser on, and get live range, an 8 digit grid and the height difference to whatever you are pointing at. Built from scratch with no mod dependencies, so it works alongside any weapon or vehicle pack.
FEATURES

- Live azimuth and elevation while looking through
- Laser on/off with live range to the first surface hit (up to 3000 m)
- 8 digit grid of the lased point, ready to pass on for CAS or fire missions
- Height difference to the target in metres
- "NO RETURN" when nothing is in range
- 4x / 8x / 12x / 16x zoom steps
- On-screen control hints that switch between keyboard and controller automatically
- Laser switches off automatically when the binoculars are lowered
- Large, TV-readable HUD text
CONTROLS

Laser Rangefinder (SLD2), found in the gadget slot like normal binoculars.

FOR SERVER OWNERS AND MODDERS

- Client-side readout only. It does not change damage, AI or any gameplay values.
- Max range, laser mode (live toggle or one reading per press) and recharge time can be changed on the prefab.
- Normal binoculars are not affected.
- Console compatible: scripts and vanilla assets only.

Phase 2 (planned): laser designation, so lased targets can be marked for AI, CAS and Game Masters
