GTK BOXER – IFV WITH 30 MM LANCE TURRET The German Army's Boxer 8x8 with the Lance turret, built from scratch – exterior, full interior and systems. Crewed by driver, gunner, commander and an infantry squad. CREW • 9 seats: driver, gunner, commander, 6 troop seats • Get in and out via the rear ramp or the door in the ramp, seat switching inside • Fully modelled interior: driver station, troop compartment, turret interior • Interior light white / red / off VEHICLE • 720 kW, 8x8 all-wheel drive, up to approx. 112 km/h, strong hill climbing • Driver hatch in road (raised) and combat position, working periscopes • Animated steering wheel and turret handles • Rear ramp and ramp door • Automatic fire suppression with limited charges • Custom wreck WEAPONS • MK30-2/ABM 30 mm autocannon: AP, HE and airburst (ABM) with fuze setting (rangefinder, auto or manual) • Coaxial 7.62 mm machine gun • Fire-and-forget guided missiles: launcher rises from the turret box, direct or top-attack profile, target frame • Remote weapon station with 12.7 mm HMG for the commander, own sight and zoom • ROSY 40 mm smoke system: 180 degree smoke wall, fired by gunner or commander button • Reload from vehicle storage with progress bar FIRE CONTROL AND OPTICS • Sight picture modelled on the real sight: heading bar, elevation bar, turret indicator, range, ammo, 4x / 12x zoom • Day, night vision and thermal (white-hot / black-hot); fire and explosions visible in thermal • Switchable weapon stabilisation, target marking / slew-to-cue (hunter-killer) • Turret displays show the live sight image CAMOUFLAGE • Three paint schemes: woodland (German three-colour), desert, winter • Change camo at the vehicle depot (cargo is kept) • Camo nets in three colours: put a net in the vehicle storage and it covers hull and turret KEYS (rebindable in Settings > Controls > "GTK Boxer") • R – reload weapon station (commander) / missiles (gunner) • N – vision mode day / night / thermal • spacebar – stabiliser on / off • T – missile attack profile direct / top-down • Middle mouse – mark target / slew turret AVAILABILITY • Heavy vehicle depot (US, armor): added automatically wherever the LAV-25 is listed – also with other mods' vehicle lists and in Game Master building mode; 1800 supplies, rank Lieutenant • Game Master vehicle list • Arsenal (US, default list): camo nets and Boxer ammunition
