FORTEX Weapon Tuning — Tuned Recoil for Arma Reforger
Modular recoil system for the FORTEX arsenal. All parameters are configured per-weapon in Workbench via Weapon Aim Modifiers.
WHAT IT DOES
Adds four independent layers of recoil and sway to weapons. Each weapon has its own profile.
RECOIL
Vertical kick, lateral drift, shoulder push — transmitted to the camera. Builds up during sustained fire. Depends on stance.
AIMING
Deadzone: wide in hip-fire, tight in ADS. Expands after each shot. Affected by fatigue.
SWAY AND TREMOR
Breathing sway. Hand tremor from fatigue, heat, damage and long ADS. Micro-jitter. Grip adjust. Walk bob.
COVERAGE
Assault rifles, carbines, submachine guns, machine guns, marksman rifles.
CONFIGURATION
All values in component attributes in Workbench.
IMPORTANT
Order in MuzzleComponent → Weapon Aim Modifiers is critical: WeaponRecoil → FireShake → CameraShakeParams → WeaponSway → Deadzone. Requires FORTEX Framework. Do not run with other recoil mods.
LIMITATIONS
Doesn't touch animations, damage or ballistics. Values are subjective.
