Official Workshop description
Unofficial compatibility patch for vPad (60C40CDB56C23C6B) and HCA_RadUI (61FF27D67BBDB412) by armazing.
Both mods were last updated for 1.4. On 1.8 game can't compile their scripts and refuses to start any scenario. This patch makes vPad work again and nothing more, no new features. If vPad gets updated this patch may not be needed, but the idea was to make a patch that just fixes the errors that I saw in the logs
WHAT IS FIXED
- All script errors caused by game changes since 1.4 (not 100% sure, but I think most of them)
- Paper map and vPad spawned as empty items and they didn't show up in any arsenals
- vPad screen was blank, mod used a setting that is no longer in the game
- Vanilla maps were not swapped on use (game moved files)
- Categories in the settings (in GM) had their text cut off, now it's readable
- Error in vPad's vehicle first person camera ("null pointer", saw it once on my dedicated). Should be fixed, but I couldn't make it happen again to test
- Mod was spamming the logs about empty entries while the vPad or paper map was open in hand
- Missing font and missing texture errors in logs (font is now arma's default but missing textures are just not in the mod at all, not sure what happened there)

Fixed an error that could repeat every frame while the vPad or paper map was open in hand, maybe fixed a rare vehicle camera script error, removed log errors from a missing font and from RadUI's missing hud textures (font is now defaults to arma's default and textures are just not there, they are not in the mod)config.json entry
