GSC X TWS Earplugs Take control of how loud you are — and how loud the world is. FEATURES Voice Range - Cycle between three direct-speech levels: Whisper, Speak, and Shout - Each level has its own hearing range (default: 3m / 10m / 60m) - On-screen HUD shows your current voice level and its range - Switching levels while holding push-to-talk keeps you transmitting Earplugs - Toggle hearing protection in 10% steps (0-100%) - Dampens gunfire, explosions, and other loud SFX - Also reduces your own breathing, footsteps, and climbing noise - Uses a perceptual (decibel-based) volume curve, so every step is a clearly audible, evenly-spaced reduction — not the "barely does anything until the last click" feeling of a raw linear slider - Earplugs do not touch other players' voices — that's what VON Volume is for - On-screen HUD shows your current earplug percentage VON Volume - Separate volume control for other players' voices - 10% steps from 100% down to 10%, then back to 100% — you can never mute everyone by accident - Independent of your earplugs - Shown on the HUD with its own icon HUD & Control Hints - Clean on-screen HUD for voice range, earplugs and VON volume - Everything fades in and out smoothly; earplug and VON rows stay visible for a moment after returning to their default value - Hide or show the whole HUD with one key — it comes back automatically when you use any of the controls - Control hints in the bottom left show your keys briefly after spawning and after every key press CONTROLS All keys are rebindable in Settings > Controls > "GSC X TWS Voice Range & Earplugs" Keyboard - F2: Earplugs - F3: Voice Range - F4: VON Volume - F5: Toggle HUD Gamepad (PlayStation and Xbox) - L1 / LB + D-Pad Up: Earplugs - L1 / LB + D-Pad Down: Voice Range - L1 / LB + D-Pad Left: VON Volume - R1 / RB + D-Pad Left: Toggle HUD Multiplayer-ready - Audio is handled on your own client — no effect on server performance - Works on dedicated servers, hosted games, and for joining players alike - Your settings stay when you die and respawn, and reset when you reconnect CREDITS - Inspired by Zwanidinho - Additional credit to W4rD4ddy

- VON Volume: separate volume control for other players' voices (10% steps, 10-100%, F4 / L1+D-Pad Left)
- HUD toggle key (F5 / R1+D-Pad Left) with fade animation
- Gamepad support for PlayStation and Xbox
- Control hints in the bottom left after spawning and after each key press
- New HUD row and icon for VON Volume

CHANGED
- Earplugs now use 10% steps instead of 20%
- Earplugs no longer dampen other players' voices — use VON Volume instead
- Retuned earplug curves: gunfire/SFX and breathing/climbing are now dampened independently
- HUD rows fade in and out and stay visible briefly when returning to their default value
- Keybinding list sorted: Earplugs, Voice Range, VON Volume, Toggle HUD

FIXED
- Switching voice range while holding push-to-talk no longer cuts your transmission
- Earplugs not dampening after joining a dedicated server
- Excessive log spam and needless init retries on dedicated servers
- Keybinds not working for the host
- Mod not loading at game mode start
