Official Workshop description

Chat Faction Tags adds role and faction indicators to chat messages, making it easy to identify who is speaking and what faction or role they belong to at a glance. Messages will display tags like [US, Admin] or [USSR, GM] before the message content, colored based on the player's faction with optional darkening for admin and GM roles. FEATURES - Faction tag displayed for each player based on their in-game faction - Admin and GM role tags automatically detected and displayed - Faction color applied to chat messages with configurable darkening for admins and GMs - Fully configurable via a simple JSON file, no mod tools required - Custom faction tag names supported - All settings replicated from server to clients for a consistent experience CONFIGURATION On first launch the mod automatically generates a default settings file at: profile/ChatFactionTags/settings.json CREDITS Special thanks to Ceo_Of_Bacon for the original Chat Message Roles mod which this project is based on. Use Chat Faction Tags on your server

Add Chat Faction Tags to the game.mods array of your server config.json. The config generator builds the full file, the mod manager keeps the mod list and its dependencies organized, and the config validator checks an existing config.
