Official Workshop description

Gamemasters and administrators can broadcast announcement messages to all players, making it easy to share important information across the server. Players without GM or admin permissions will receive an error message if they attempt to use the command. Creating Announcements To create an announcement, use: !announcement Your message here Or include a duration: !announcement 30 Your message here In this example, the message will be displayed to all players for 30 seconds. If no duration is specified, the message will be shown for the default time of 5 seconds. You can also use the shorter alias command: !ann Event Announcements To create an event announcement with a countdown timer, use: !announcement event 60 Lets go crazy! Or: !ann event 60 Lets go crazy! This will display a notification with a live 60-second countdown, making it perfect for events, restarts, or timed activities. New Features Hint Notification Box Announcements can now appear in a dedicated hint-style notification box, improving visibility without interrupting gameplay. Dismiss Message Option Players can manually dismiss active announcements, giving them more control over their screen. Event Countdown Notification Announcements can include a live countdown timer, making them ideal for events, restarts, or timed activities. Logging All announcement activity is logged to the console and saved in a custom log file located at: $serverprofile/SimpleAnnouncements/announcement.log

Add Simple Announcements to the game.mods array of your server config.json. The config generator builds the full file, the mod manager keeps the mod list and its dependencies organized, and the config validator checks an existing config.
