Official Workshop description

Tired of spending half your session fumbling in the dark? Short Nights compresses the night cycle to ~25% of total experienced time — keeping the atmosphere, tactics, and immersion intact, without the frustration. Unlike full night-skip mods, the sun still sets and rises naturally. Only deep night passes faster — twilight and sunrise/sunset transitions run at full vanilla speed, so the lighting change is completely smooth and natural. Features: Night compressed to ~25% of total experienced time 4-hour real-time day cycle (balanced for active servers) Twilight zones protected — no flickering at sunrise/sunset Deep night accelerated only, transitions stay smooth Dynamically adjusts to season (shorter nights in summer, longer in winter — but always accelerated) Compatible with vanilla time multiplier settings Settings can be adjusted via Workbench scene editor. Recommended for public and mixed servers. For hardcore milsim, try 30% (edit SN_NIGHT_FRACTION in Workbench).
