Official Workshop description
The 6B5 is a Soviet ballistic vest system designed to replace older models like the 6B3 and 6B4. It was adopted by the Soviet Armed Forces in 1986. The 6B5 vest is known for its various iterations, with different materials like titanium, steel, and boron carbide ceramic used in the plates. It was designed to provide protection against small arms fire and was issued to various military units.
