Summary

Body-part health and field medicine for multiplayer: seven body parts with their own health, bleeds, fractures, surgery, painkillers and stims.

Official Workshop description

GO HARDCORE MEDIC – Body-part health and field medicine for Arma Reforger multiplayer Every soldier has seven body parts with their own health: head, thorax, stomach, both arms, both legs. A bullet, a splinter, a blast, a punch or a fall hurts the part it strikes – and that part works worse until it is treated. On top of it runs the full GO Medic circulation: pulse, blood pressure, oxygen, blood loss, cardiac arrest and CPR. Built for multiplayer servers: the server decides, every player sees the same, late joiners too. BODY PARTS - Head 35, thorax 85, stomach 70, arms 60, legs 65 health. Head at 0 = dead. Thorax at 0 = the heart stops – a medic with CPR can still save him. - Arms, legs and stomach at 0 are blacked out: an arm shakes the aim, a leg slows you down. Damage on a blacked part spreads over the others (from the stomach one and a half times). - Light bleeding (Arma's wound bleeding) and heavy bleeding (an open artery or a torso vessel) take health from their part AND blood from the body. - Broken bones: limping without sprint or a shaking aim – until a splint. TREATMENT – right on the soldier in the inventory - Every body part has a label on the inventory's soldier: name, health bar "HP/max" and up to five state icons (light/heavy bleeding, fracture, pain, blacked). - Drag an item from the inventory onto a part's label and you use it on yourself at that part. Click a label and the medicine bar shows only the items that help there. - Arma's medkit heals a hurt body part 10 health per second and stops a light bleeding there first (unlimited, no blood – blood only comes back with saline). - Bandage = light bleeding, tourniquet = heavy bleeding on a limb, hemostatic gauze = torso vessels, splint = fracture. - Surgical kit (3 uses): a blacked part back to 1 health. Survival first aid rollup kit (15 uses): a blacked part back to full health, a bit slower. Each surgery lowers the part's maximum a little until the next full heal. - The whole treatment time runs first; stopped early = nothing happens, nothing is used up. PAIN AND DRUGS - Pain grows with hurt, broken and blacked parts: dark edges, less colour, a blur on a fresh hit. - Painkiller blister (4 tablets, ~5 min): sprint on a broken leg – every sprint second costs the leg a little health. Arma's morphine is stronger and lets even a blacked leg sprint, a bit slower. - Regen stim: heals every hurt part that is not blacked, about 3 minutes, then a short stamina crash. Hemostatic stim: for 90 seconds every bleeding stops at once and new wounds do not bleed – open arteries stay open and bleed again afterwards unless a tourniquet holds them. - GO Medic's drugs stay: epinephrine, phenylephrine, metoprolol, naloxone, combat stim, smelling salts, saline, overdoses. ON SCREEN - A small glowing body at the bottom left while you are hurt: every part flows from green over yellow and red to black – no numbers, nothing else. - In the inventory: your acting drugs with their time left under the vicinity, the whole body's health and your blood under the boots. CHEST, AIRWAY, EXAMINE (from GO Medic) - Open chest → chest seal, tension pneumothorax → needle, blocked airway → tube, oxygen mask. - Arma's "Examine casualty" opens a box with all values, every acting drug and red warnings with the right remedy. CONTROLS - No new keys: Arma's inventory, action menu and quick slots – keyboard and controller. Dragging onto the labels is a mouse thing; on a controller Arma's own way stays. AI - AI keeps Arma's rules. Treat it with Arma's own items. SERVER SETTINGS (ADMINS) - Pause menu → "GO Hardcore Medic", 22 settings: body damage scale, damage spread, bleeding rates, medkit healing, surgery times and penalty, painkiller sprint damage, brain clock, CPR, drug duration, chest and airway risks, debug log. - Only the host and logged-in admins (#login) see and change them; every player gets them at once. Chat / RCON: #ghm status, #ghm debug on|off. MULTIPLAYER AND COMPATIBILITY - States replicate to everyone, treatments use Arma's own animations. - Every medical item is in the medical tab of Arma's arsenal (all factions). No vanilla prefab or config is overwritten – the items join through their own catalog. - Light on the script budget that all loaded mods share, so it leaves room for the mods you play it with. - A self-check at start: if an Arma update removes something it needs, that part switches off cleanly and the log says why. - Runs on its own – use it instead of other medical mods (also instead of GO Medic), not together with them. 1.0.1 – for Arma Reforger 1.9
- Inventory: the total health and blood row under the boots was cut off at the bottom of the screen on Arma 1.9, which draws the soldier lower. It now stays inside the window at every screen size and UI scale.
- Arma 1.9's new canteen no longer shows up in the medicine bar of every body part and can no longer be dropped on a label. Drinking from it works as Arma intends.
- Removed a workaround for an old Arma bug that Arma 1.9 fixes itself.
- Tested against Arma 1.9.0.37, multiplayer included. No balance or settings changes.
