Terms of Service

Last Updated: 2026-07-15

These Terms of Service explain the rules for using Reforger Mods API, including reforgermods.net, the API, API keys, paid plans, documentation, browser tools, and support channels.

Reforger Mods API is operated by cedarline.digital. It is an independent, unofficial service and is not affiliated with Bohemia Interactive.

Service Description

Reforger Mods API provides read-only JSON access to normalized metadata from publicly accessible Arma Reforger Workshop pages. Workshop data may include mod names, authors, descriptions, images, tags, ratings, download counts, update dates, dependencies, scenarios, and links back to official Workshop pages.

Workshop data is controlled by Bohemia Interactive and may change, disappear, become unavailable, or contain errors. Reforger Mods API caches and formats that public data but does not verify ownership, entitlement, moderation status, identity, legal rights, or platform account information.

API Keys And Accounts

Some API features, higher limits, or paid plans may require an API key or account. You are responsible for keeping credentials secure and for all activity that occurs through your keys unless caused by our own systems.

Do not publish API keys in public repositories, client-side applications, forums, logs, screenshots, or shared config files. We may rotate, suspend, throttle, or revoke keys that are exposed, abused, unpaid, compromised, or used in violation of these terms.

Paid Plans And Billing

Paid API access is sold through monthly subscriptions or other written commercial arrangements. Current public plans are Developer at $5/month and Pro at $15/month. Plan limits, renewal dates, prices, and any special terms will be shown in the checkout flow, invoice, quote, account page, or written agreement that applies to your plan.

Fees are due according to the billing terms presented at purchase. Unless a written agreement says otherwise, paid access may be limited, downgraded, or suspended for failed payment, chargebacks, fraud risk, or unpaid invoices.

Taxes, currency conversion, payment-provider fees, or bank fees may apply. Refunds are handled at our discretion unless required by law or stated in the applicable purchase terms.

Acceptable Use

Use the API responsibly. Do not attempt to bypass rate limits, evade plan limits, share paid credentials outside your permitted use, overload the service, scrape internal endpoints, probe private infrastructure, interfere with other users, or use the API for unlawful activity.

Do not use the API to build systems that misrepresent Workshop authorship, imply official Bohemia Interactive affiliation, remove required attribution, or obscure links back to official Workshop pages where those links are appropriate.

Do not send secrets, private tokens, payment details, or sensitive personal information through API query strings, support messages, mod-search inputs, or other free-form inputs.

Rate Limits And Availability

Responses may be cached and temporarily stale. Current public limits are 60 requests/min with a burst of 20 for anonymous access, 300 requests/min with a burst of 30 for Developer, and 1,200 requests/min with a burst of 120 for Pro. Paid limits are shared across all active keys on the same account.

Cache windows, rate limits, response fields, endpoints, paid-plan limits, and availability may change as the service evolves.

The API is provided without a guarantee of uptime, permanent compatibility, completeness, or accuracy unless a separate written agreement says otherwise. You are responsible for deciding whether the data is suitable for your application.

Integrations And Attribution

When using Workshop data, link users back to the official Workshop page where appropriate, avoid implying official endorsement, and follow applicable Bohemia Interactive terms and policies.

You are responsible for the products, dashboards, bots, mods, communities, or tools you build with the API, including your own privacy notices, user support, security practices, and compliance obligations.

Operational Metrics

The service may collect operational metrics to monitor performance, usage, cache behavior, billing limits, API-key usage, and upstream Workshop fetches. These metrics may include request counts, average/high/low response time, cache hit/miss/stale counts, cache freshness, approximate country-level request origin, coarse unique client-network estimates, latest cache activity, latest upstream scrape/fetch results, and retained aggregate day/week/month/year buckets.

Operational metrics are used to operate, secure, bill, and improve the service. They are not a public analytics feature and may reset when the API process restarts.

Third-Party Content

Workshop content, names, images, descriptions, authorship, trademarks, and related materials belong to their respective owners. Reforger Mods API does not grant rights to third-party content.

Suspension And Changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service, including free access, paid plans, API key requirements, endpoints, rate limits, or cache behavior. We may suspend or terminate access for misuse, security risk, non-payment, legal risk, or violation of these terms.

These terms may be updated as the service changes. The date at the top of the page will show when they were last revised.
